Can a prenuptial agreement make divorce easier?

It has been said that children make the holiday season better; primarily because of the marvel they have with all the lights, celebrations, and of course their priceless reactions on Christmas morning. But do children make divorces easier to bear? The question is a legitimate one, given that kids can provide the emotional lift that some parents need during such a difficult time, and the sense of family that is all-important.

How to make back-to-school shopping easier

While back-to-school shopping commercials may not be seen for a few weeks, it is likely on parents’ minds; especially those who are recently separated or divorced. After all, shopping for the new school year may be different depending on your children’s ages. The kids may need flash drives, tablets and new cell phones, in addition to pencils, pens and most importantly (depending on the child) new clothes.

How to handle holiday parenting time disputes

With the Fourth of July weekend drawing near, it is important to know what the plan is for parenting time during the weekend. This is especially important if you have a court order that only specifies who has parenting time on the 4th, as opposed to the entire weekend.  Also, if you don’t have a court order at all, you may be at the mercy of a vindictive parent (if you are a father who is trying to get parenting time).
